Michelle Zhou, C’21

“When the class of 2021 joined Keynotes A Cappella, the group had only three returning members. From the start, it was clear that our class would play a huge role in rebuilding Keynotes and establishing our place on campus and our vibe as a group.
Four years later, Michelle is the undisputed and universally respected leader of our graduating class. Our seven seniors have put so much into making Keynotes what it is today, and Michelle always stood out among an already special group. She served as President of Keynotes for two years and simultaneously elevated our quality of performance, our group’s stature on campus, and our sense of community and family.
There is no doubt in my mind that Michelle has had as big an impact on Keynotes and its members as any Penn senior has had on any performing arts group on campus. Her positive attitude made every rehearsal and performance more fun and more fulfilling, and her ability to lead with both strength and compassion made all of our Keynotes experiences so much better.”
