“Adam is such a warm and welcoming presence and TAC-e was so lucky to have him as our fearless leader this year! When you talk to Adam it really feels like he values what you have to say and that he is really listening. Adam most certainly did not get the position that he signed up for last March, but we have been so lucky with how flexible he has been and the innovation that he has implemented for TAC-e this year. I really think that Adam believing in my skills and abilities and pushing me to do more is the reason that I’ve been involved with TAC-e as I have been, and I couldn’t be more grateful. He certainly left his mark on the performing arts at Penn and deserves every honor that comes his way.”
“Adam is a remarkable theatre artist. As a set designer, he has created delightful worlds for audiences to enjoy, both in-person and online. He has made an impact on the student performing arts community through his inspiring leadership as TAC-e Chair and the Chair of the Penn Players. I really respect his vision, his dedication and his support for the TAC-e community these past few years. I enjoyed his company in David Fox’s American Musical Theatre class and as a collaborator on theatrical productions. With his impeccable theatre knowledge and leadership skills, Adam has a bright future ahead of him, and I look forward to seeing what he will do next! “
“Since his freshman year, Adam has taken every opportunity to become a leader in and advocate for the performing arts at Penn. While his role as TAC-e chair was very different from what he envisioned, he worked so hard to ensure that TAC-e shows would still go on even under difficult circumstances and did everything possible to bring together the performing arts community, including hosting virtual social events throughout the spring and summer of 2020. This spring, Adam coordinated a historic collaboration between FTC, Penn Players, Intuitons, Quadramics, and 4A to further unite TAC-e members and take advantage of the few perks of the virtual format in order to create a piece that could not be made during a traditional season. No one loves our community more than Adam, and he could always be counted on to lend a helping hand, brainstorm ways to improve, and bring people together. “
