“Lizzie had one of the most difficult tasks you can have- leading a performing arts group through a pandemic. Her number one priority from the middle of March through the end of her leadership in January was to promote the continuation of the Shabbatones. Lizzie worked relentlessly to plan trivia nights, bake-offs, and schmoozers to ensure our group would remain as close as possible. Letting music take a back seat to relationship building, Lizzie was responsible for the success and continuity of our group. Constantly pushing upperclassmen to engage new members of the group, working tireless to creatively run zoom rehearsals- these are just a few of the initiatives Lizzie took in order to put the team on her back. She couldn’t have possible known at the time how much her work would pay off. It takes special dedication to the performing arts to care enough to push everyone to give their all during a time such as COVID.”
